Breath…For Real!

I know this sounds silly, if you weren’t breathing you’d be dead right.  Well yes, that’s true, but when was the last time you REALLY took a deep, life affirming breath.

We go through our day not thinking about what actually keeps our body going, the body needs just three things to survive, food, water, and oxygen.  We are all guilty of taking these things for granted,  so let’s focus on the one thing thing the body can’t live for more than 6 minutes without.  Breathing!!!

Try this exercise with me:

Find someplace comfortable that you won’t be bothered for like 2 minutes, yes, you can find 2 minutes to yourself.  It’s OK to allow this.

Sit comfortably with your back supported and your hands resting gently in your lap, close your eyes if the moment allows or just keep them opened, whatever feels right in the moment.

Now take a deep breath, as deep as the lungs will allow, in through your nose and out through your mouth, don’t hold it, just let it flow easily.

Repeat this 10 times, in…out…

Open your eyes and I assure you you feel 100% better about whatever it was that was on your mind 2 minutes ago.

Repeat this exercise as often as you can throughout the day.

It’s a life changer I assure you.
