When real life happens…..

I have had the luxury of 5 glorious days off.  5 days of leisurely walks with my dogs, bike rides with my son, walks through our beautiful zoo and a leisure day at the spa.

Back to the real world today, back to routines and schedules and work.

Taking time off from routines is ok, as long as you have a plan to get right back on board after that specific time is up.

That’s not to say, I didn’t keep my mind and body active because I did, I just slept a little longer and walked more, spent a little more time alone with my thoughts outside rather than in structured meditation.

Summer is hard, we start to vary our routines to accommodate out of school schildren and vacation.

Just stay active AND be sure to have a date when you’ll get back on track.

Don’t give up on yourself!
